This position requires lifting 50 pounds maximum occasionally with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. This job also requires walking or standing to a significant degree and involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling of the arms. In a workday this employee must stand/walk 1-4 hours; sit-5-8 hours; use hands for repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling, fine manipulation and keyboarding; and be able to bend, twist, and reach frequently and kneel or climb occasionally.
As required by HIPAA, all health information for residents and employees of Saint Anne Home to which you are privy, must be kept in strict confidence both during and after your employment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and support end-user computer resources and services.
- Set up new employees – collecting requirements, purchasing, imaging, setup, deployment, education and follow up
- Manage and maintain user accounts for PCC.
- Train users in software applications and Operating Systems fundamentals.
- Research and evaluate new software in support of business needs and creating efficiencies.
- Works under the general supervision of the IT Director.
- Initiate, contribute, administrate web-related environments including intranet.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and vendors.
- Research, recommend, purchase and deploy IT hardware and services.
- Documentation of systems for end users
- Administrate account for WASP Inventory System, Rapid Screen Temp Monitoring System, PC Pro Allstar communications (phone system), Primacy fob system (door), New Era Call Lights system, Point Click and Care (Health Information System) and Cloudbadging system.
- TV system-cable troubleshooting and installation of converter boxes as needed.
- Badge system – creation of badge for new employees.
- Troubleshooting of hardware – printer and scanner.
- Door system – assigning fob for employees
- Call light system – assigning of pendant for residents in SNF and ALF.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- EXPERIENCE:
- One year of systems administration and desktop support experience.
- Modest experience with basic system administration commands/utilities and processes.
- Modest understanding of Operating Systems and networking; for example, understands distinctions between kernel/systems and shell/user processes, network file systems, IP protocols and IP stack.
- Experience administering Windows Server 2008, email servers, printers
- Demonstrates troubleshooting skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Must be knowledgeable and able to support both Windows and Mac OSX environments.
- Experience with audio/visual equipment a strong plus.
- Desktop support, user-integrated systems, third-party vendor software, hardware knowledge.
- Vendor management through systems maintenance, upgrades and migration.
- Familiarity with Windows system management tools, managed encryption, system imaging, backup & recovery solutions.
- Experience with set up and support of mobile devices including iPhone and Android
- Experience providing remote support.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- OTHER:
- Weekly and monthly audit checks for Maintenance and Environmental
- Be able to work effectively with Administrator, CFO, Directors and other key management.
