What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAH Registered Nurse ICU position at Saint Anne's Hospital?
Summary:
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical financial and organizational outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of nursing process social behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program.
- Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.
- Ability to analyze data to synthesize and summarize information and to make judgements regarding patient care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- For specialty areas related experience and qualifications may be required.
EDUCATION:
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
- MA RN license and BLS required (Some departments require ACLS or PALS)
