Job Summary
We are looking for an assistant teacher who is able to care, supervise and create a warm learning environment while maintaining State Regulations. The assistant teacher must be energetic, professional and a team player. A passionate candidate must be able to provide a high level of care to young children and work collaboratively with a lead teacher.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
· Work with parents to promote understanding of the growth and development of their child; effectively communicate with parents, verbally and in writing.
· Maintain accurate records including attendance and daily health checks.
· Maintain an organized classroom and take responsibility for the upkeep of the classroom's educational equipment, materials, and appearance.
Qualifications and Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be at least 18 years old
