- Indoor, temperature controlled, smoke-free environment with occasional outdoor exposure. Exposure or potential exposure to blood and body fluids may be required. Handicapped accessible. May work under stressful circumstances at times.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Requires competency in assisting with delegated treatment, activities, and care of participants.
- Performs tasks as delegated by and supervised by licensed therapists and facilitates / leads group activities in conjunction with activity coordinator.
- Supports an environment and culture that enables the PACE enter to fulfill its mission by helping to provide participant safety and participant-centered treatment or activities.
- Maintains open and on-going communication with coworkers and supervisors.
- Participates in team meetings an completes daily documentation / care plans per PACE guidelines.
Ideal incumbent will have direct patient care experience preferably with frail elderly / geriatric population, will maintain active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, or have completed approved vocational-technical program. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. CPR certified.
