Job description
The IEP /Special Education Coordinator provides professional guidance to the teachers, assistant teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers. The IEP /Special Education Coordinator engages in a broad range of activities which support and promote overall programmatic quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Education & Experience
At least bachelor's academic degree in special education or related field required, Master's degree in special education preferred,
NYS certificate in Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd grade), (1st-6th grades), or a general working with students with disabillities required,
SAS/SBL/SDL certificate or a study plan preferred,
4 years of work experience in young children’s special education,
Excellent writing and communication skills,
1 year experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or behavioral management strategies preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
