What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Imaging Technician position at Saint Elizabeth Florence?
We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team at Saint Elizabeth Florence. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and producing high-quality images.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Certification and Licensure: Must have current ARRT certification and KY LIC (KBMIRT) licensure or be eligible to obtain it upon submission.
- Education and Experience: Requires significant experience with EPIC systems and proficiency in performing thrombectomy procedures for neuro cases.
- Skills and Qualifications: Must possess advanced certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
Work Schedule: Our diagnostic imaging team operates on 4x10 shifts from 08:00-18:30, with one call day per week every other week. Weekend call occurs every seven to eight weeks.
Procedure Proficiency:
Our imaging services unit performs a range of complex procedures, including Angiograms, Venograms, PICC, Port a cath, Vertebroplasty, GI bleed, Embolization, Biliary tube exchange, Nephrostomy, IVUS, Fistulagram, Trans jugular biopsy, and IVC filter removal.
Requirements: Candidates must provide proof of I9 or attestation, government-issued photo ID, and proof of E-Verify or attestation if working on a compact license.
