Position Summary :
Support Staff work in tandem with Servers and Bartenders in order to deliver an outstanding experience to our guests while ensuring their team can appropriately focus and prioritize their guest interactions. Support Staff on our Front of House Team are personable, attentive, able to multitask, and able to manage their workload while maintaining a cool head and prioritizing tasks as they are received. In addition to their core tasks and guest interactions, Support Staff also perform additional duties commonly associated with the position, such as polishing silverware, glassware, and basic cleaning and organizational duties.
Support Staff are encouraged to learn and approach their position from a point of curiosity and methodology. They are expected to know the overall details of the menu and how to navigate guest questions, always relying on their team and Leadership to support any additional knowledge or to satisfy guest needs when prompted. Support Staff report directly to the General Manager, who is overseen by the restaurant’s Ownership. The entire Leadership Team is always available for any questions or concerns that you may have, and we encourage an open door communication policy with all work-related items during appropriate time periods. All employees and managers are expected to conduct themselves calmly and respectfully in all interactions, and to maintain the standards set forth in our employee handbook while on premises or representing the company, embodying the essence of hospitality in all guest and staff interactions.
Responsibilities :
The Key Responsibilities of Support Staff are :
- Clean Finished Items from Guest Space
- Mark Guests with Appropriate Utensils and Needs for Upcoming Items
- Deliver Food from the Kitchen and Drink from the Bar to Guests when needed
- Maintain a Clean, Organized, and Prepared Dining Room for Service
- Interact with Guests with True Hospitality, a Sense of Calm, and High Levels of Professionalism
- Maintain a Neat Appearance Per the Handbook Guidelines for Uniform Standards
- Arrive to Work Punctually and with Proper Presentation and Preparedness
- Check In With Leadership Upon Arrival
- Maintain Up to Date Knowledge of Menus, Upcoming Changes, and Restaurant Events
- Complete Opening, Running, and Closing Side Work
- Inform Management of any Outages, Shorts, or Issues
- Report Immediately any Guest Issues to Management
- Maintain Server Station Pars and Needs
- Clock In and Out Daily, as Well as for Breaks, Reporting any Issues or Lapses to Management Immediately
- Additional Tasks as Assigned, such as Cleaning, Stocking, Organization, Moving Furniture, and Other Tasks as Assigned by Management and Leadership

Qualifications :
All Support Staff Must Have the Following Experience and Ability Requirements :
- The Ability to Communicate and Receive Communication in English
- Previous Experience with Hospitality and Service Work or a Strong Desire to Learn
- Well Organized
- Exhibits a Sense of Urgency and Focus
- Team Player who Works Well with Others & Supports Their Peers
- Understanding of State, Local, and Internal Policies for Safe and Appropriate Food Handling and Compliance
- Works well Under Pressure
