Job Description
Maintains open line of communication with transportation and office staff, including social worker or family support worker
Verifies necessary transporation and move forms are complete
Assures that children have all necessary belongings and medications at time of transport
Must follow and adhere to state driving laws and regulations
Tranpsorts children / families safely from one destination to another location
Able to work varied days and hours
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR / FA
Must be 21 years of age
Must pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance Check and an Adult registry check
FBI Fingerprint check
Must have a valid Driver's License, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
Mandated reporter
Receives training in trauma informed practice and incorporates knowledge in day-to-day practice
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be a team player
Familiar with atlas and map usage
Ability to travel throughout the State
Ability to work flexible schedule
Handles multiple priorities
Independent discretion / decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position
Able to make decisions under pressure
Manages stress appropriately
Works with other effectively / teamwork
Understands and practices Universal Precautions
