Job Description
Saint Francis Ministries is looking for a Junior Cyber Security Analyst. A Junior Cyber Security Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding an organization’s digital assets. This entry-level position involves monitoring and responding to security incidents, supporting security measures, and assisting in maintaining compliance with security policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Education : Associates degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of experience. Security , CCNA or Network preferred.
Must be able to obtain the Security within 6 months of hire.
Your responsibilities :
Administer technical onboarding and off-boarding for employees, including all required technical security setups for new employees
Implement, monitor, and investigate alerts from all security tools deployed, both on end-points and in the cloud
Manage the security awareness program and tools, and ensure onboarding and annual security training is performed
Help develop and then take first-line responsibility for incident investigation and response
Maintaining the security infrastructure
Ensure authorized access through investigating improper access, reporting violations and monitoring logs to include Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365
Assist Network Admin., SysAdmin, and IT Director in security incident resolution and risk evaluations
Contribute to the development of the security policies and procedures
Assist with security compliance
Undertake other responsibilities as delegated by the IT Director to ensure operational efficiency
What we are looking for :
1-2 years of hands-on experience in security administration and IT operations, preferably for a cloud-based product vendor
Experience working in a startup environment where change and growth are constant
Demonstrated commitment to security and self-development through a history of self-directed learning
Excellent detail-oriented organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, auditors, and senior management
Team player, a strong self-starter who takes the initiative
Security certifications such as CompTIA Security or a commitment to obtain such within 6 months of joining
