- Work Experience: 0 - 6 month(s) related experience inclusive of on the job or classroom training in phlebotomy
KSA's
- Basic PC Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to draw blood specimens
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Collects patient specimens competently and accurately
- Supports the general operation of the Laboratory
- Documents collection and processes specimens efficiently
- Performs phlebotomy collections in a timely manner
Working Relationships
- Works directly with patients and/or customers
- Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction
- Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction
- Works with other healthcare professionals and staff
