Job Summary
Proactively works to effectively manage the schedule of all specialty clinic providers to optimize conversion to surgery, patient throughput, template utilization, while reducing no-shows. Uses clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to increase efficiency, anticipate schedule gaps and works to minimize gaps in all provider schedules. Acts as a liaison between scheduling staff, providers and other departmental staff to address complex concerns, shared decision making and decreasing redundancies.

Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Typical hours for this position: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Details And Requirements

Education:
- High School diploma or GED- required
- One (1) year working in an ambulatory space with previous experience in patient care, registration, scheduling, prior authorization, coding, or medical terminology- required
- Complex scheduling and understanding diagnosis and flow of a clinic- preferred
