JOB SUMMARY
Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Clinic Details:
Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
14-16 visits per day
1:10 rotation for Urgent Care weekend shift
Education:
- Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
Certification & Licensures:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- Three years experience as a family nurse practitioner preferred
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
