Saint Francis - Manchester is a non-profit Assisted Living Community at 65 West Clopton St., Richmond.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, energetic, detail oriented, skilled, Full-time LPN or RN, Director of Nursing to lead our Clinical Care department and services. This role ensures that high-quality care is provided to residents by developing and maintaining care plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance with healthcare standards. The DON is a key leader in providing compassionate and effective care, supporting the facility’s mission, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for residents. · Must be a trained, qualified and experienced assessor of the VA ALF UAI and ISPs.
· Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as the applicable state laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the assisted living facility.
· Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other clinical care staff.
· Must demonstrate a willingness to work alternate shifts to cover the floor as needed.
Salary Range Start: $90,000, competitive salary commensurate with experience and a generous FT benefit package

Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of Virginia. CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Additional certifications in geriatrics, healthcare management, or related fields are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in an Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or similar healthcare environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of nursing principles, state regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and families. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff schedules effectively.
