Saint Francis University invites applications for a full-time position as a College in High School/Workforce Development Specialist in the Division of Professional Studies. The College in High School/Workforce Development Specialist is directly responsible to the Dean to oversee all functions of the CIH program including dual enrollment, professor in residence, student in residence, the career development series, online/on campus course options for high school students and other special programs. Works to increase the number of high school partnerships and course offerings in each school, along with the Dean of DPS and College in High School outreach Liaison. Ensures quality offerings, works with academic departments for course and instructor approvals, manages all partner agreements, oversees collection of all course syllabi each semester, creates and hosts instructor professional development and networking opportunities, prepares reports and tracks CIH data, collaborates with admissions team on traditional undergraduate or DPS pipeline, coordinates dissemination of materials to each partner school, and oversees student registration. Attends partner school events to promote Saint Francis Offerings and participates in meetings with partners to create new strategic initiatives. Fosters workforce development partnerships with area career and technical centers and high school partners. Works to create pathways from technical programs to our DPS AAS, AS degrees.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Experience working in education, account management, marketing or sales Is desirable. Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills. Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written. Must exhibit a high level of professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy. Experience as a team player with ability to work with all ages, backgrounds, and constituents. Must be able to build relationships and maintain partnerships. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multitask. Creativity in developing and implementing innovative strategies. Driver’s license required. Local and regional travel is required. An occasional evening or weekend may be required.
