OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
ST. GEORGE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH OF CAPE COD
Overview
Administration of church daily operations under the guidance of the Parish Priest while working with the Parish Council, Parishioners, Committees, and various Ministries. 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Organization, planning and multi-tasking Data processing
- Managing daily office operations, and maintaining office supplies and records.
- Keeping accurate financial records
- Managing the church’s schedule of events
- Assists with coordinating, planning, marketing and executing of church events.
- Assisting to develop budgets, pay bills, oversee payrolls, and track and record church income from donations and sales
- Handling church communications and publications, creating and distributing bulletins and newsletters, maintaining website and overall church calendar
Requirements and Skills
- Proven work experience as a Church Administrator/Office Administrator or similar role
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to work in an environment of varying speeds and problem solve
- Ability to keep private and sensitive information confidential
- Ability to work independently and work with the congregation/community
Qualifications
Minimum two years administrative experience
Compensation
$25.00 - $30.00/hour (Determined by depth of experience)
