Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Upper School Math Teacher to join the SGS community for the 2025-26 school year.
The classes to be taught may include Geometry, Advanced Geometry, Algebra 2, Algebra 2 with Trigonometry, IB Analysis and Approaches SL/HL, and IB Applications and Interpretations.
Successful candidates will: have a demonstrated expertise in their discipline; have experience working with adolescents and their parents; have a strong understanding of pedagogy, a desire to collaborate closely with colleagues, and an interest in encouraging cross-curricular connections. Teachers at Saint George’s model life-long learning.
This position will be a 1.0 FTE, regular faculty appointment.
Essential Responsibilities
· Teach students in grades 9-12
· Prepare and facilitate five classes per day in math subject areas
· Develop mentoring relationships with students
· Provide a class experience that matches the school culture of developing each student’s talents
· Provide feedback to students and families in a timely manner
· Attend weekly and monthly staff meetings
· Supervise study halls
· Academic advising of students
· Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
· B.S. in Mathematics
· Minimum five years of experience required
Preferred Qualifications
· State teaching certificate
· National board certification
