The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will collaborate to support the Sales & Marketing Department for Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Inc.
Your Day to Day:
- Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Conduct analysis to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Support production teams in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Assist in the design and implementation of quality control measures.
- Prepare documentation and reports to track project progress and outcomes.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerBI software.
- Prior internship or relevant coursework in manufacturing engineering is preferred.
