Early Childhood Teacher
Saint Gregory's is seeking a general education preschool/early childhood teacher (ages 2-4 ) for the 2025-2026 school year. Saint Gregory’s School, certified by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), is a Pre-K3 through eighth grade independent, Catholic school outside Albany, NY.
This position requires teachers to plan, prepare, and teach age-appropriate lessons according to the School’s curriculum and best practices. The successful candidate will need to help our students grow and develop as they prepare for our elementary school program. This position further requires teachers to display healthy classroom management skills and be able to multitask. This job requires significant attention to the overall wellness of our students, maintaining a healthy relationship with colleagues, and using appropriate communication skills with Saint Gregory’s families.
A Bachelor's Degree or higher and successful working experience with toddlers and preschool age students in a creative and high energy manner are preferred. Teachers with special education or literacy backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have excellent oral, written and organizational skills as well as being comfortable with technology in the classroom.
