Full-Time Elementary Classroom Aide Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons and from strong experience teacher.
- Support small group and one-on-one instruction, reinforcing key concepts for students.
- Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities.
- Help prepare materials, set up learning stations, and maintain an organized classroom.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Provide individualized support to students with different learning needs.
- Assist in managing classroom technology, supporting digital learning tools.
- Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere aligned with Catholic values.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and supporting their academic and social-emotional growth
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom, childcare, or educational setting (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or coursework in Education or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, be flexible, and work collaboratively
- Practicing Catholic (preferred but not required)
