What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Cake Decorator position at Saint Honore Pastry Shop?
Assistant decorator will be trained to do the following tasks and should be willing to learn new things and take initiative to learn.
The role of the ASSISTANT CAKE DECORATOR is to help the Lead Decorator:
- decorate store cakes
- make small decorations out of chocolate and modeling paste for custom cakes
- cupcake orders
- Ensure a clean work space for both them and the decorator
- create the weekly list of custom cakes that need to be decorated
- work quickly and efficiently
There are no required skills or education for this position, but experience working in a bakery decorating or an art background is preferred.
We are looking for someone with:

- must be able to work Saturdays and (some) holidays
- availability Tuesday-Saturday starting time 10 am - 6pm (some Sundays required depending on holiday season)
