Job Summary: The Assistant Football Coach is responsible for assisting the head football coach in developing the football team, aiming for success on the field while demonstrating commitment to the ideals of Catholic and Jesuit education.

Additional Information: This position reports to the Head Football Coach. The football season is the Fall Season (early August to late October). Hours will vary and consist of afternoon practices and Saturday contests. If a teaching position or other position is open in the school fitting a candidate’s credentials, the coaching candidate may apply separately for that position, if interested. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with teacher’s certificate preferred. Previous coaching experience is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrate strong teaching, leadership and organizational qualities within a competitive and comprehensive interscholastic football program.
- Foster a team environment that supports a strong work ethic and the appropriate behavior and sportsmanship of all participants.
- Exhibit great passion for football and the high school athletics experience.
- Effectively and positively communicate with student-athletes, administration, parents and coaches.
