Job Description
The Monitor Tech is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care in the department setting. Key responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors, meeting communication needs, and assisting nursing staff with indirect patient care duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required
- Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician
