High School World Language Teacher – full-time
In preparation for the 2025-2026 school year, Saint John’s Catholic Prep is soliciting resumes for possible openings in the discipline of World Language.
Saint John’s Catholic Prep’s is searching for caring, career-minded education professionals to serve as part of our World Language department. The positions could be French or Spanish. Some could potentially be AP courses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan for and teach a full course load; 5 classes and 1 enrichment class per day
- Encourage, monitor, and promote student engagement through a positive learning environment
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Identify and/or develop resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds and learning styles
- Incorporate various forms of technology within lessons
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in French or Spanish, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Previous teaching experience in a professional setting preferred
- Positive, creative, solution-oriented person

The ideal candidate has a degree in French or Spanish with a specific discipline, excellent teaching skills, previous experience with secondary school teaching, a demonstrated passion for and expertise in World Language, and strong computer skills, including Outlook, Google Classroom, with a comfort level working in a 1:1 laptop environment. While independent school experience is preferred, it is not required.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
