Middle School Teacher/coordinator, Full Time, Jordan MN

Saint John the Baptist Catholic School in Jordan is looking for a middle school teacher/coordinator to join our great team starting in fall 2025. The ideal candidate will be ready to teach math to middle schoolers along with additional subjects depending on expertise and school needs. This candidate will also be playing a key role in coordinating middle school activities, leading homeroom competitions, scheduling field trips, and tweaking schedules when needed for events.

Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their behavior must not violate the faith, morals, or laws of the Church or the Archdiocese such that it can embarrass the Church or give rise to scandal. It is required that this employee be an active, participating Roman Catholic. Active participation means going to Mass each and every Sunday, as well as all Holy Days of obligation, and regularly participating in the Sacramental life of the Church.

Qualifications:

• Catholic and actively practicing (going to Mass weekly at the very least) required
• Licensed teacher preferred
• Math background preferred
• Able to pass background checks and complete required safe environment training
• Excellent communication skills and planning skills preferred
