- Administers direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory care setting. Addresses total comprehensive needs of patients and oversees the delivery of care to a large diverse patient population. The RN initiates appropriate nursing interventions and education in conjunction with the physician’s or professional healthcare provider’s comprehensive patient plan of care. Serves in a supervisory role for Office Level 1 RNs and Medical Assistants and performs clinical supportive tasks to facilitate patient coordination of care and enhance work efficiencies for physicians and providers.
- Education: Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, diploma, BSN)
- Licensure: RN Indiana license or licensed in another state having requested endorsement in Indiana. CPR certification required. Pediatric Clinic also requires ACLS and NRP certification.
- Experience: A minimum of six months current experience in the ambulatory care setting is preferred. Experience in various clinical areas is preferred.
- May need to occasionally travel to other SJPN locations within the three-county area.
