Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of direct and indirect patient care.
- Conduct routine medical procedures and prepare patients for exams.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and/or a certificate or degree from a medical assisting program.
- Current certification as a medical assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- One to three years of experience in a medical or physician office setting preferred.
