Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Saint Joseph Health System. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting ambulatory care setting physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake and preparation for exams
- Administer basic medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent, or completion of a medical assistant program
- Certification or registration as a medical assistant (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA)
- CPR certification
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical or physician office setting preferred
