The Regional VP of Nursing Operations organizes and administers areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility's objectives established by administration. Provides the leadership and vision necessary to ensure that the hospitals in the Region have proper operational controls and reporting procedures in place to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate, and meet the needs of the patient. Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care treatment and services. Consults and communicates with local Directors, Staff, Physicians and Administration through site visits, meetings, committees, and rounds. Addresses patient care delivery issues and ensures local adoption of corporate policies. Available to travel to all facilities across the Region. Provides coverage for vacant CNO/COO positions in the Region, as assigned.
Required qualifications:
1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current, preferred.
3. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Minimum of five (5) years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
5. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
6. Master's of Science in Nursing or related advanced administration/leadership degree required.
