Description:

Full-Time Billing and Follow-up Representative role, responsible for processing all referrals, both internal and external, billing, customer service, financial counseling, of all durable medical equipment orders. In this role you would be the main phone contact for all referrals, while also assisting with billing, data entry, and prior authorizations.

Billing and Follow -Up Representative, (1st Shift Mon-Fri)

What an Billing and Follow -Up Representative will do:

• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing.
• Documents claims billed, paid, settled, and followed-up in appropriate systems.
• Communicates with appropriate hospital departments to clarify billing discrepancies and to obtain demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information.
• Proactively follow up on delayed payments by contacting patients and third-party payers, determining the cause for delay and supplying additional data as required.
• Main intake referral staff member, answering phones, communicating with both internal and external referral sources.
  
  
  

What an Billing and Follow -Up Representative will need:

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing preferred.
• (1) year of experience with relevant knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems.
  
  
  

In-Person Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00pm.
