As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in an on-site employer clinic. In this clinic you will be providing both occupational health services along with urgent care services for this employer’s employees along with their dependents over the age of 3. A Medical Assistant - is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What you will do:
- Room set up and patient preparation.
- Taking vitals
- Drawing blood, giving injections and immunizations.
- Performing point of care testing.
- Drug and breath alcohol testing.
- Supply ordering and stocking.
- Assisting with procedures
- Vision testing
- Administrative duties to include referrals, patient check-in & patient check-out
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant program of study through an accredited medical assistant program that includes class work, medical terminology coursework, and clinical instruction.
- Or 5 or more years of current, clinically relevant work experience in a physician office or clinic setting. If hired, successful completion of in-house competency-based orientation program within 90 days.
- 3 years of Medical Assisting experience preferred
