Occupational Therapist
Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members
Evaluate, develop appropriate skilled plan of care, and communicate with physicians as a registered therapist; and provide treatments following the plan of care developed as a registered therapist or assistant.
Document daily resident participation with skilled treatment sessions in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
Instruct resident's family or nursing staff on current functional level as indicated
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
Provide support to the center interdisciplinary departments as directed by the Director or Rehab to provide the highest level of care in the industry.
Qualifications Of The Occupational Therapist
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Current and in good standing discipline specific state license.
One (1) year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long Term-Care preferred
