Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Shift : 3x12's Contract Length : 13 weeks 2 years of experience required within a large academic center Trauma level I or II experience required Experience with Peds, Triage, STMEl and Stroke Experience required Patient Ratio Typically : 1 : 6 Patient Mix / Skill requirements : 88 licensed beds (does not include hallway beds) ratio primarily 1 : 5 (plus one hallway bed). Types of patients include all ED patients, plus observation and admitted boarding patients within the ED.
