Job Description Summary
The Center for Academic Vision & Excellence is seeking Graduate Assistants for the 2024-2025 academic year. The department houses multiple student support services requiring administrative assistance during office hours. Graduate Assistant support is particularly vital in areas requiring student confidentiality and GAs must uphold the department's commitment to demonstrating the core value of integrity in all student interactions. The position is part-time requiring coverage for 2 shifts, Monday - Friday

Duties and Tasks :
- Duties and Tasks :
- Testing Center - monitoring and updating the AIM scheduling system, contacting faculty for testing instructions, scheduling seating within the Testing Center, proper handling of all confidential documents and exams, incident report recordkeeping, proctoring, returning / scanning material back to faculty appropriately, reporting Testing Center violations according to department policy.
- Serve as a Graduate Student role model and mentor to undergraduate students.
- Various tasks as required by department staff

This position is renewable for an additional year pending a complete evaluation of candidate performance and duties. Termination or non-renewal of the assistantship may result if specific duties are not accomplished or the candidate receives documented poor performance reviews
