What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Services Assistant - Part-Time position at Saint Louis Zoo Openings?
Responsibilities: Provide phone coverage for the Zoo Membership Office, including the handling of Membership gifts and Zoo Parents Program gifts over the phone, Tribute Fund contributions and other general Zoo Membership inquiries as needed. Additional responsibilities include data entry and assistance with other tasks as assigned by Database Manager and Assistant Database Manager.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. An Associates or four-year college degree preferred. Experience with business phone operations and customer service required. Must be able to project professional, friendly, image on phone, excellent communication skills, ability to handle and prioritize numerous tasks, and the capacity to work independently and with minimal supervision. PC proficiency with Word processing, Raiser’s Edge software and other database programs is a plus. Candidate must be available to work from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. per shift and have a flexible work schedule which includes weekends. Strong people skills and working in a team environment required. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
