Responsibilities: The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking energetic, responsible and service-oriented applicants for seasonal employment opportunities as Welcome Desk Hosts. Hosts must be able to easily and professionally interact with visitors to talk about the Zoo, membership programs, and ticketing options.
Qualifications: Candidates must be able to work during the week from 8am – 5pm (longer shifts possible during Summer hours 8am – 7pm) and must have availability on weekends and evenings. Prior customer service and sales experience is preferred. Familiarity with computers is required. Candidates must have the physical ability to stand for 4 to 6 hour shifts. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
