Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City is seeking a BC / BE family medicine physician to join one of our Same Day Access Clinic teams in the KC metro area. Positions are available in our Lee’s Summit, MO location in addition to the Perryman Primary Care clinic on the plaza.
About the position :
- This full-time position offers a Mon-Fri schedule (8AM-5PM) with no weekends, holidays or call required
- The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, addressing urgent, non-emergent health concerns
- This role involves diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries, coordinating follow-up care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely access to healthcare services
- Key responsibilities will include providing timely care for patients presenting with acute, non-life-threatening conditions in a same-day clinic setting and additional responsibilities such as medication refills, sports physicals, and annual wellness visits
- Will be expected to collaborate with APPs, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care, close care gaps, HCC gaps, and work closely with the care team to assist with scheduling to help direct patients to the most appropriate level of care and set follow up appointments with a PCP
- The physician will be expected to perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, and splinting while providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages, ensuring a positive patient experience
- The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients simultaneously
- The role utilizes a fully integrated Epic EMR, and prior experience or familiarity with Epic is preferred
- Requirements : BC / BE in Family Medicine and must be able to obtain MO / KS state medical licenses
