Job Description
Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza is seeking an experienced Teacher for our Licensed Early Childhood Education Center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children by providing quality child care. This positions allows you to participate in the planned activities with the children and be an active participant in their care and education. If you have experience in planning and implementing age appropriate curriculum to children, this would be a great position for you to continue your career.
Shift: 1 Shift per week. Ideal candidate would have morning/ afternoon availability.

Responsibilities
- Provides basic child care
- Interacts and communicates with children, parents, and other employees.
- Plans and implements age appropriate lesson plans/curriculum while assessing and responding to the individual needs of the children
- Teaches curriculum that is based on the theories of Project Construct and Creative Curriculum with the goal of kindergarten readiness
- Provides a clean and well organized classroom.
- Maintains a commitment and dedication to providing a safe learning environment for all children
- Establishes and maintains effective, professional working relationships with parents and staff
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and quality of work
- Maintains flexibility in work assignments
- Participates in state required in-service trainings
- CPR and First Aid Certification required
