About the position
- Outpatient-focused position working with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans
- Saint Luke’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School; opportunity for academic appointment through UMKC, commensurate with level of experience
- The neurology residency program provides 12 residents educational opportunities in all of the Neuroscience Institute’s comprehensive treatment centers
- Abundance of research opportunities and track record of success; possibility for start-up funding for motivated candidates
- On-call responsibilities are shared among the neurologists, which provides a balanced lifestyle in addition to the support of Advanced Practice Providers
