Job Description
Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.
Shift Details : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm
Responsibilities :
- Answers the telephone
- Communicates messages through email or Epic
- Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments
- Collects patient copayments
- Makes appointment reminder calls
- Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate
- Scans and / or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart
We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including : medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
