Job Description
The Opportunity : Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking an OB Technologist to assist in the delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- OB Technician within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
- Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
- The OB Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- The OB Tech individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs.
- The OB Tech collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
- The OB Tech assumes a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
- This position is for 2 (two) 12 hour shifts 1845-0715 each week
