Saint Luke’s Health System and the Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI) in Kansas City are seeking a BC/BE interventional cardiologist with primary interests and expertise in vascular and endovascular intervention.
About The Position
Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute is a world-renowned center for cardiovascular care and cardiovascular outcomes research in the heart of Kansas City and has been consistently recognized in U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals for Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery. It offers comprehensive cardiovascular care including coronary artery disease, valvular/structural heart disease, heart rhythm management, cardiovascular imaging (echo, nuclear, CT, MRI), preventative cardiology, maternal-fetal cardiology, cardio-oncology, and advanced heart failure (including heart transplantation and LVAD). The cardiovascular practice currently includes over 65 cardiologists and 45 advanced practice providers within a very high-volume office and hospital-based practice.

About The Position
- The practice will be based in the Saint Luke’s South Region (Saint Luke’s South Hospital/Saint Luke’s East Hospital) with procedures performed at Saint Luke’s South, Saint Luke’s East, and the Mid America Heart Institute
- The Interventional Cardiology practice includes the full spectrum of interventional cardiology procedures including PCI, STEMI intervention and complex and high-risk PCI (CHIP)
- The Vascular/Endovascular interventional practice includes the full spectrum of vascular interventions including: ilio-femoral, infra-popliteal, brachiocephalic, mesenteric/renal, CLI/limb salvage interventions, renal denervation, iliac vein stenting, saphenous vein ablation, vascular coiling, and EVAR
- Excellent opportunity for interventional cardiology and vascular interventional cardiology clinical research
