This role is integral to our departmental leadership team, providing clinical supervision and support on a shift basis. As an RN Shift Supervisor, your responsibilities will include :
- Coordinating and assigning patient care efficiently.
- Acting as a unit patient flow coordinator to facilitate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Coordinating staffing for the upcoming shift in collaboration with the Director, Clinical Manager, Coordinator, and / or House Officer.
- Serving as a clinical and leadership resource, providing mentorship and role modeling for staff.
- Contributing valuable input for departmental staff evaluations and performance reviews.
- Completing all established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
