Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's Abdominal Transplant and Multispecialty Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Scheduler II to join our team. You will be scheduling kidney and liver transplant patients for New Evaluations to start the transplant process, follow up appointment for those waiting on transplants and post transplant follow ups. You will also be working with different departments throughout the health system to schedule applicable testing and appointments needed for our transplant patients. You will have the opportunity to provide customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community, and internal departments throughout SLHS for a minimum of two modalities within scope of position.
Shift Details: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and has a positive attitude. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, willingness to work, is adaptable and eager to learn. This position will require you to work autonomously as well as with a team.

- Scheduling tests, procedures, treatments and services with limited supervision.
- Consistently and accurately schedule patient appointment with limited supervision.
- Problem solving concerns and issues.
- Providing patient instructions and education regarding appointments and preparations for tests and procedures. Consistently demonstrates the ability to problem solve customer concerns.
- May be part of helping develop the need for changes in department processes.
- Working with other departments within the health system to accurately schedule appointments needed for patients.
