What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Support position at SAINT MARIANNE COPE MUSEUM?
Responsibilities Include:
Administrative Tasks:
- Input and manage data in Past Perfect software.
- Handle donations, compose letters, and maintain records.
- Update and organize addresses, contacts, and emails, including guest book and online order sign-ups.
- Process mail, correspondence, and relic requests.
- Answer phones and provide exceptional communication assistance.
Calendar Management:
- Maintain and update the museum calendar, including tour schedules and follow-ups.
Tour Coordination:
- Confirm tour information, maintain contact details, and organize photos for use.
Gift Shop Support:
- Operate the cash register and provide customer service.
- Update product listings, manage inventory, and enter sales data using Square.
- Assist with order-taking, mailing, and support for other gift shop operations.
Creative & Organizational Tasks:
- Assist with jewelry-making projects.
- Sort and transcribe archives for historical research.
- Organize and order supplies as needed.
Event & Marketing Assistance:
- Support museum events, including preparation and execution.
- Help gather images and stories for newsletters.
- Assist with mailings and outreach efforts.
12-20 hours per week, flexible hours during the weekday between 8am and 3pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
