Description
Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated and accurate to ensure all financial reporting can be quickly and clearly communicated to management. The primary responsibility of this position will be accounts payable.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Review invoice entry for accuracy
- Review statements monthly
- Maintain vendor file
- Complete vendor payments
- Vendor communication
- Distribution of Vendor Invoices
- Filing
- Assist in month end procedures
- Power user of accounting software invoice entry
- Receive and disburse cash
- Reconcile and report discrepancies in record
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Works well in a team environment.
- Driven to continually improve processes and procedures for efficiency.
- Communicates both written and verbally.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well organized.
- Able to multitask
- Competency in MS Office including Outlook
- Associates Degree or relevant experience
- Ability to keep all financial information confidential
- Ability to learn and use accounting software
