Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge is seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, ulcers, and other skin conditions. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in promoting healing and preventing complications.
Duties:
- Educating staff nurses on wound care protocals.
- Creating, updating and managing care plans.
- Performing specialized procedures (e.g cleaning wounds and bandaging, changing of wound dressings).
- Working with Multidisciplinary team to plan skin care interventions.
- Performing diabetic foot care.
- Educating patients and their caregivers on wound care procedures and preventative measures.
- Documentation of all wound interventions.
- stay up to date with current wound therapies.
- Work alongside the Wound Partners CRNP with weekly rounds and implementing any new changes in wound treatments.
- Assist with Restorative Nursing.
- Assist with nursing student orientation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nursing license ( RN or LPN) from the state of PA or a multi -state license for PA.
- Wound Nurse Certification
- Proven experience as a Wound Care Nurse and Restorative Nursing.
