Job Details
Specialty : RN Emergency Room
Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice
Directs and guides patient / family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry
Accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department
Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and / or response to treatment
Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child / adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker
Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
Job Requirements
Current and valid state RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
PALS Certification
NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred
COVID vaccination / boosters preferred
EDAP 1 and 2
BVP (MAB) training
Additional Details
COVID-19 Vaccine required for onboarding
Proof of 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
Annual Respirator fit test for certain locations
Hepatitis B Vaccination (Declinations not accepted at some locations)
Influenza Vaccine or declination required during specific months (With exceptions)
TB Test required
Driver's License / State ID or Passport required
Varicella Vaccination / titer showing immunity
Tdap Vaccination (Declinations not accepted at some locations)
Physical / Health Statement annually or within a specified timeframe
