What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant/RMA or CMA - Millard Henry Clinic position at Saint Mary’s Regional Health System?
Supports quality Laboratory operations by ensuring proper collection, processing, and testing of patient samples by ensuring that all testing performed in the Laboratory is done in a timely and accurate manner, and through responsible utilization of equipment, supplies and other resources. Performs testing of non-complex nature under direct supervision of MTs/MLTs. Assists the technicians/technologists in performing routine maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment and assistants in insuring reliability and accuracy of all Laboratory testing systems and equipment, including performance of quality control testing. Maintains good communications with others, complies with all clinic and Laboratory policies and insures quality patient care at all times. Performs phlebotomy, POCT and other duties as assigned.
This position is required to be on site.
