What are the responsibilities and job description for the MLS Medical Technologist or MLT - Millard Henry Clinic position at Saint Mary’s Regional Health System?
Supports quality Laboratory operations by ensuring proper collection, processing, and testing of patient samples by ensuring that all testing performed in the Laboratory is done in a timely and accurate manner, and through responsible utilization of equipment, supplies and other resources. Performs routine maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment and assists in insuring reliability and accuracy of all Laboratory testing systems and equipment, including responsibility of quality control systems. Maintains good communications with others, complies with all Clinic and Laboratory policies and ensures quality patient care at all times. Supervises other employees or work shifts, as required. Assists in Laboratory Operations and other duties, as assigned.
Position is required to be on site.
