What are the responsibilities and job description for the MT or MLT - Laboratory Department position at Saint Mary’s Regional Health System?
Supports quality Laboratory operations by insuring proper collection, processing, and testing of patient samples by insuring that all testing performed in the Laboratory is done in a timely and accurate manner, and through responsible utilization of equipment, supplies and other resources. Performs routine maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment and assists in insuring reliability and accuracy of all Laboratory testing systems and equipment, including responsibility of quality control systems. Maintains good communications with others, complies with all Hospital and Laboratory policies and insures quality patient care at all times. Supervises other employees or work shifts, as required. Assists in Laboratory Operations and other duties, as assigned.
This position is required to be on site.
